Ava,

By now you must have already met our little one, whom we lost before we could kiss hello or goodbye.   She lived for a short time with her other two triplets inside her mommy and brought joy to her expecting parents for many months until she stopped growing with her sisters.  Please let her know that we miss her and always think of her.  It is comforting to know that God has given her a little cousin to play with in heaven while she waits for us.  Even though we don't know how we are related, we know that you share a common bond with our little one.  Watch over us until we can meet you both!

God looked around his garden
     and saw an empty place.
He then looked down upon the earth
     ans saw her smiling face.
He put his arms around her

Every time we read of another Vasa Previa Angel we cry, get angry and most of all redouble our efforts to raise awareness and to try and reach the ears of those who really can do something about this. 

We know nothing we can say will comfort you, but a friend of ours sent us this poem (below) when our son Henry Cameron ^i^ died, also because of undiagnosed vasa previa and velamentous cord insertion, the words were a comfort to us, we hope they are to you and your family;

Death Is Nothing At All

Death is nothing at all.
I have only slipped away into the next room.
I am I, and you are you.
Whatever we were to each other,
That we still are.
Call me by my old familiar name.
Speak to me in the easy way which you
Always used.
Put no difference in your tone,
Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow.
Laugh as we always laughed,
At the little jokes we enjoyed together.
